Welcome

We’re getting married at Hawkesdene, a mountain estate outside the small town of Andrews, North Carolina, a valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains about two hours from Asheville, two hours from Atlanta, and a good bit farther from everything else. Out of the way, but with a small-town charm we know our family and friends will love. December weather is unpredictable, but there are fireplaces and festivities that will keep us all feelin’ good.

Getting Here

Not near an airport. Near three.

Hawkesdene isn’t close to a commercial airport. It is, however, about the same not-close to three of them.

  • Atlanta ATL 2.5 hours
    Your best bet for a major airport. The most flights, usually the best fares, and easy interstate until the last stretch.
  • Asheville AVL 2 hours
  • Chattanooga CHA 2 hours

Whichever you pick, plan on renting a car. We’ll be in touch to help coordinate travel, and we may be able to provide shuttles.
